The Barn at Sweet Pecan Farms
About the Space
The barn at Sweet Pecan Farms in Cape Girardeau is now open for weddings, wedding receptions, and events.
The barn has an open concept floor plan, but can be divided up into three sections.
The first section is for the ceremony. There is a separate entrance for the ceremony area with a small foyer. This section of the barn will seat approximately 250 people. There is also a stage for the bride, groom, and bridal party to stand for the ceremony. (The ceremony area can also be broken down and used as a dance floor or additional reception seating if needed).
The second section of the barn is located in the middle of the building and can be used for the reception and dance. The space accommodates approximately 250-300 people with tables and chairs.
The third section of the barn holds a groom's room for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. There is also a bar area for the caterer to use along with space in the hallway set aside for a buffet line. Guest bathrooms and a storage area for tables and chairs is also located in this section.
The interior of the barn showcases exposed beams and rustic lighting.
